We have many years of experience in the industry providing a prestige service.

Established in London from 1992 our company  founders and directors Mr. Chris Howard and Mr. Dave Courtnell  both come from the service industry.

Chris had his own cleaning company employing over 100 staff which enabled Howdra UK to hold many prestigious contracts. David had his own building maintenance company for 20 years then a Property Management Director overseeing 510 residential properties.

Howdra are the original British family run maid company .

Not only are our founders, father and son in law , Sarah Howard ( David’s daughter and Chris’s wife ) is company secretary so a true British run company.

Following on from the ethos of family run company many of Howdras staff are long standing employees so again part of our Howdra family and through their dedication and hard work  has seen them promoted from within.

Where as some of our ladies and gentleman originally arrived as cleaners working for at least 2 years in this role they are now working in our offices. Therefore our clients have the knowledge that when talking to our office , our staff  are fully aware of the challenges in day to day life that may arise.

Over the years we have all seen a dramatic change in technology and in 2014 Howdra moved to our new state of the art 4,200 sqft head offices in Silicone Oasis.

Internally Howdra completed a massive over haul of our systems that now sees Howdra  online  with Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Foreign affairs as well as the Epro systems.

Recently Howdra  have launched our very own online booking  system so our clients can simply click, book and pay  therefore no more tiresome phone calls ! Our system incorporates a instant update schedule sent directly to our ladies so our clients can book a maid online and once notification is received our drivers and maid will receive all the details.

Howdra also hold the temporary labour supply license which is compliant with Economic and Labour Department that legally covers the companies activities thus giving our clients the peace of mind that Howdra Maids are legal.
